EPOXY FLAKE & POLYASPARTIC FLOORS

Garage, workshop and commercial floors that shrug off hot tyres, oil, brake fluid and dropped spanners. Flake blends for the look, polyaspartic top coats where you need the floor back in service fast.

Every floor gets a full mechanical grind first — never an acid wash. That is the difference between a coating still there in ten years and one that peels off in sheets at the roller door.

What you get

DONE PROPERLY, START TO FINISH

We moisture-test the slab before quoting. A garage floor with rising damp needs a different primer, and finding that out afterwards is how coatings fail.

  • +Diamond grind and moisture test before anything goes down
  • +Crack and joint repair with epoxy mortar
  • +Flake broadcast to refusal, scraped and vacuumed back
  • +Two clear coats, anti-slip additive on request
  • +Polyaspartic option for a same-weekend turnaround

EPOXY FLAKE FLOORS QUESTIONS

The questions we get asked on the driveway about this one. Anything else, ring us — you will get a person.

ASK US — 0404 859 045

Will an epoxy floor peel under hot tyres?

Not if the slab was ground properly first. Hot tyre pickup happens on floors that were acid-washed or roller-primed over a sealed surface. We grind every floor mechanically, which is why ours stay down.

How long before I can park on it?

Foot traffic after 24 hours, vehicles after about 72 hours for epoxy. A polyaspartic top coat cuts that to roughly 24 hours.

Epoxy or polyaspartic — which do I want?

Epoxy for the thickest build and the lowest price. Polyaspartic when the floor has to go back into service fast or sits in strong UV. Most home garages get an epoxy build with a polyaspartic top coat.
