TWENTY YEARS ON BRISBANE SLABS

Brisbane Concrete Resurfacing is a licensed concreting and decorative resurfacing business working out of Forestdale since 2005. QBCC/BSA licence 1109935, fully insured, and the same crew who quote your job are the ones standing on it.

We do not subcontract the work out and we do not leave an apprentice on site with a spray gun. That is the whole business model, and it is why we can put a written workmanship warranty on every job.

How we work

FOUR RULES WE DO NOT BREAK

Twenty years of watching resurfacing jobs fail — usually other people's — turns into a fairly short list of things you must never skip.

  1. 01

    Grind it, never acid-wash it

    Mechanical preparation is the whole job. It is also invisible afterwards, which is exactly why cheap quotes leave it out.

  2. 02

    Fix the cause, not the symptom

    A crack gets cut out and stitched, and we work out why it happened first. Skimming over a live crack just hides it for a season.

  3. 03

    Price it in writing, hold the price

    Itemised, with a start date. If we find something under the slab we ring you before we spend your money, not after.

  4. 04

    Say no when it should be replaced

    We would rather lose the job than warrant an overlay on a slab that is heaving. It will fail, and then you have paid twice.

The yard is in Forestdale, which puts Greater Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Redlands and Moreton Bay inside an hour. Travel is included in the quote and there is no call-out fee anywhere in that range.
