North Lakes, Mango Hill and Griffin are newer estates, and newer estates mean sound slabs and small garages. Most of what we do up there is epoxy flake garage floors and decorative overlays on driveways that were poured plain by the builder to keep the house price down.
The Redcliffe peninsula is the opposite: older homes, salt air off the bay, and slabs showing surface spalling. Same approach as the bayside suburbs — treat the steel, rebuild the surface, then finish and seal it properly, and expect a three-year sealing cycle rather than five.
Because it is a 50 to 65 minute run each way, we schedule Moreton Bay work in blocks. If you are up that way and your neighbour is thinking about it too, mention it — two jobs in the same street is easier for us to program and it usually shows up in both prices.
