POOL SURROUND RESURFACING
Non-slip when it is wet, cool under bare feet in January, and finished tight to the coping so there is nowhere for water to get underneath. A non-slip additive goes through the seal coat and the texture is chosen for skin, not shoes.
Lighter colours stay noticeably cooler through a Brisbane summer, so we will steer you away from the dark charcoal you saw on Pinterest unless you are happy to hop.

What you get
DONE PROPERLY, START TO FINISH
Pool surrounds are the hardest surface we do — constant water, sunscreen, chlorine and bare feet. They get the most careful edge detailing of any job on the list.
- +Non-slip additive through the seal coat, not just a rough texture
- +Cool-touch colour range for bare feet in summer
- +Finished tight to coping and tile so water cannot track under
- +Falls checked so puddles drain away from the pool
- +Safe over existing pavers-look and stencilled surrounds

POOL SURROUNDS QUESTIONS
The questions we get asked on the driveway about this one. Anything else, ring us — you will get a person.
ASK US — 0404 859 045
Is a resurfaced pool surround slippery when wet?
No. The non-slip additive goes through the seal coat and the texture is chosen for bare feet, so it grips wet. We wet it and walk it with you before we leave.
Will it get too hot for bare feet?
Not in the lighter colours, which is what we recommend around pools. Dark charcoals look sharp in photos and are punishing in a Brisbane January.
Will it lift where water sits?
Not if the edges are done properly. Failures around pools almost always start at the coping junction or an unsealed edge — that is where the care goes.
