01 — What we do

Nine services, one crew. If the slab is sound we resurface it — if it isn’t, we’ll pour you a new one.

Sandstone-tan decorative concrete driveway in a running ashlar block pattern on a corner block

Decorative resurfacing

Spray-on and stencil overlays straight over your existing slab. Pick the pattern and the colour — we prep it, lay it, seal it.

Shed floor finished half in grey epoxy flake coating and half in ground and polished concrete

Epoxy flake floors

Garage and workshop floors that shrug off hot tyres, oil and dropped spanners. Full mechanical grind first, so it never peels.

Exposed aggregate concrete steps and entry path of honey and brown river pebbles sealed to a wet look

Exposed aggregate

Washed stone poured fresh. Grippy underfoot, hard as nails, and still sharp twenty years down the track.

Pale sandy-grey non-slip decorative concrete pool surround with white grout lines beside a backyard pool

Pool surrounds

Non-slip when it’s wet, cool under bare feet in January, and finished tight to the coping.

FULL SERVICE DETAIL

Nine things we do, and nothing we don’t. If a slab is past saving we’ll tell you to spend the money on a new one instead.

02 — Why us

Twenty years of Brisbane slabs, and the prep underneath to prove it.

We’ve seen every way a resurfacing job can go wrong, and we’ve spent two decades not doing those things. Same crew, same phone number, written price.

01

The prep is the job

Anyone can spray colour on concrete. We diamond-grind, cut out cracks and prime first — which is why ours doesn’t lift after two wet summers.

02

Twenty years, one crew

The bloke who quotes your driveway is the bloke standing on it. No subbies you’ve never met, no apprentice left with a spray gun.

03

A written price that holds

Itemised, in writing, with a start date. If we find something under the slab we ring you before we spend your money.

04

Licensed, insured, accountable

QBCC 1109935 and full public liability. Warranty in writing. If something’s not right in two years you’ve still got our number.

02

Prep & repair

Diamond grind the whole surface, cut out cracks, patch spalling, wash and mask. The day that decides how long it lasts.

Bonding primer, then the base coat trowelled or sprayed to an even build. Stencils and joint lines get set out here.

04

06 — Straight answers

Questions? Here are the eight we get asked most.

01

How long does concrete resurfacing last?

Done properly, 15 to 20 years and more. The decorative layer isn’t the weak point — the prep underneath it is. We grind the slab back, cut out and fill the cracks, prime it, then seal the finished surface. Re-seal every 3 to 5 years and a resurfaced driveway will outlast the fence.

02

Can you resurface cracked or old concrete?

Nearly always, yes. Hairline, shrinkage and settlement cracks get cut out, filled and stitched before anything decorative goes down. If the slab is heaving, has lost the base underneath it, or has broken into pieces that move independently, we’ll tell you straight — that one needs replacing, not covering.

03

How long before I can drive on it?

Foot traffic after about 24 hours. Cars back on after 5 to 7 days depending on the weather. Keep the turning wheels off it for the first fortnight — dry-steering a stationary car will scuff any new surface.

04

Is resurfacing cheaper than replacing the concrete?

Usually between a third and a half the cost of a rip-out and re-pour, and it’s finished in days instead of weeks. No excavator, no spoil removal, no new formwork, and no waiting 28 days for a fresh slab to cure.

05

Is it slippery when wet around the pool?

No. Pool surrounds get a non-slip additive through the seal coat and a texture chosen for bare feet, so it grips wet. Lighter colours also stay noticeably cooler underfoot through a Brisbane summer.

06

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Workmanship is warranted in writing on every job, and the coating products carry their own manufacturer warranty on top. We’re fully licensed and insured under BSA licence 1109935.

07

How long does a job take?

Most residential driveways are 2 to 3 days on site — prep day, application day, seal day. Bigger areas, heavy repairs or wet weather stretch it out. Your actual timeline goes in the quote; we don’t guess at it on the day.

08

Do you do new concreting as well?

Yes. Shed slabs, footings, footpaths, crossovers, exposed aggregate and plain broom-finish driveways — formwork, steel, pour, finish and cut.

07 — Get a price
