WHAT LOGAN CONCRETE ACTUALLY NEEDS
The 1980s and 1990s estates through Shailer Park, Daisy Hill and Cornubia were built with generous double driveways — often 60 to 90 square metres of plain grey concrete facing the street. That is the single biggest visual change resurfacing can make to a house, and it costs a third to a half of replacing it.
Sloped blocks are common through Daisy Hill and Springwood, so grip matters. Textured patterns and non-slip additive through the seal coat, every time — we do not put a smooth finish on a driveway you have to reverse up in the wet.
Down toward Beenleigh, Bethania and Waterford the water table sits higher and slabs stay damp longer. That changes the primer and the sealer we use. Getting that wrong is how a coating goes cloudy or lifts in patches a year later, so we moisture-test before we quote a finish.
